It started with an idea. I was tired of the hard hairbands falling from my hair (not to mention in my daughter's eyes!), being too tight, and making the area behind my ears sore!! With a passion for fashion and a collection of fine fabrics, I made my version of a comfortable and stylish hairband for myself and my daughter. We received many compliments on them, and people asked where they could buy them. At first, I made them for friends and then for local boutiques. It was exciting to see women and girls wearing my accessories!

Wanting to have a line for little girls and for women, I designed two lines of accessories. Using my children’s names I called the women’s line of accessories “ainsley and chase.” The little girl’s line of hairbands would be called “ribbit”, the name taken from a little sketch of a frog I had done when designing the label.

Last year, we added belts to the “ainsley and chase” line of accessories. The belts took the jeans and t-shirt look to another level! Like the hairbands, once you own one, you need to buy another and another and another!

Currently, our products are available through only the finest shops from Manhattan to Sun Valley. You may also order products from our Web site through an online form. Our styles and fabrics will always be changing, so keep visiting us!

Our company is small and we take pride in our selection of fabrics and quality of our products. As the owner of “ainsley and chase” and “ribbit” accessories, my wish is that you enjoy wearing our accessories. It is inspiring knowing that you look and feel great in our belts and hairbands.

Sincerely,

Pam Freeman
